Brendan Thompson – Managing Director

Brendan has over 16 years experience in the building and construction industry,
with 4 of these years as an apprentice carpenter within the family and the past
10 years as Managing Director of Thompson Building Group.

Brendan’s role as Director of Thompson Building Group involves overseeing all aspects of the business with primary focus on building and maintaining a strong team and ensuring we meet our clients’ needs.


Brad Thompson – Director 

Brad has worked in the construction industry for past 10 years’, with 4 of these years as a carpenter. Brad’s range of knowledge includes an advanced diploma in Business management, a certificate IV in Building and Construction and a Diploma in Personal Training.

6 years prior to Brad's role as Director of the Thompson Building Group team, Brad played rugby league with the Brisbane Broncos.


Garry Rosetta – Operations Manager 

Garry began his employment with Thompson Building Group as a sub-contractor 6 and ½ years ago before being promoted to Site Supervisor, then for the past 12 months as our Operations Manager.

Garry has been involved in the construction industry for the past 35 years. Garry has  a certificate IV in Carpentry and Plastering and has hands on experience from both the residential and commercial sectors.


Jason Whatley - Workplace Health & Safety Manager

 

Jason has spent the last 20 years in the construction industry, with 12 of these years as a safety advisor.

Jason brings professional advice from his experience having worked with other premium builder’s in residential & commercial construction prior joining the Thompson Building Group team.

 


Mike Vella – Residential Estimator 
 

Mike brings 30 years of construction and design experience to the Thompson Building Group team.

Mike owned and operated construction companies in Cairns & Darwin, where he constructed and designed over 1,000 homes in those regions.

Mike has a very broad range of experience in the Residential market.


Vanessa Rowleson - Contract Administrator

Vanessa has been working in the Construction Industry since 1994, evolving from Construction Admin to Contract Administration and Client Liaison.

 

Vanessa has  an acute attention to detail and is proactive presenter of new ideas and processes. Vanessa is results and client focused, with good negotiating ability who enjoys all facets of construction.
  


Alyssa Dennis - Contract Administrator 

Alyssa has spent the last 8 years in the property development and construction industry in Queensland and 6 years prior to that in the Real Estate Industry.

Alyssa has vast knowledge of the Construction and Property Development industries, gained from having worked with other builders and developers prior to joining the Thompson Building Group team.
 


Trent Erpf - Business Development Manager

Trent brings 8 years of experience in the Real Estate Industry with a focus on property development and new homes sales.

Trent’s experience in both the US and Australian markets has broadened his knowledge of the industry and allows him to bring new ideas and concepts to our premium builder brand.

Trent brings professional advice from working with various upscale developers and builders to create networks for the Thompson Building Group Team.


 Daniel Williams - Business Development Manager 

                Daniel brings his Property Economics background to deliver professional advice with regard to value add, design development and project feasibility. 

Daniel also provides business development services by sourcing new opportunities for the team at Thompson Building Group.

 


Greg Wilson - Commercial Estimator 

Greg commenced his position as the Commercial Estimator with the Thompson Building Group over 2 years ago.

 

Greg has 35 years experience in the construction industry with his previous roles as a supervisor and commercial plasterboard contractor.
 

 


 Scott Crane - Contract Administrator

Scott has been working in the construction industry for the past 8 years with a background in contracts administration, estimating and project management.

Scott has a broad knowledge in the commercial building industry and has worked on many of the high rise and large scale developments throughout south east Queensland.

  


Rebecca Mearrick - I.T. Administrator

Rebecca has spent the last 10 years working in the evolving  I.T. Industry. During this time Rebecca’s roles have varied between a Technician, I.T. Admin and Logistics Co-coordinator.

With the vast advancement of technology and growth of the Thompson Building Team, Rebecca’s knowledge and experience is a valuable in-house resource. 
 


April Wilson - Accounts Assistant  

April began working at Thompson Building group as a receptionist at the beginning of 2011 on a traineeship; with the professional assistance of the Thompson Group she was able to complete her qualification in record time.

On completion of April’s Certificate III in Business, she was promoted to accounts assistant where she continues to gain experience in the Building Industry.


Yvette Hopkins - Receptionist 

Yvette is your first point of contact into Thompson Building Group. Yvette is polite, friendly and will help you out where ever she can. Having worked in hospitality for 6 years, she’s confident in speaking and communicating with many different types of people.

She’s spent the last 7 years on the Sunshine Coast, enjoying, growing and learning with the people she surrounds herself with.


Luke Enchelmaier - Architectural Draftsman

Luke brings 10 years design experience in residential development throughout south-east Queensland with a strong background in solar passive design principles.

Luke’s range of experience varies from new homes and renovation work through to large scale multiple dwelling and resort developments, involving all stages of the design process - from planning and design development, 3D visualisation and marketing, through to construction documentation.

Luke holds a Bachelor Degree of Built Environment majoring in Architectural studies from Q.U.T.


 

Justin Schultz - Site Supervisor

Justin brings 14 years’ experience in the Building and Construction Industry. 4 of these years, Justin spent completing his apprenticeship in Carpentry and has since completed his Certificate IV in Building and Construction and was awarded a builders license.

Justin joined the Thompson Building Group Team 7 years ago as a Carpenter and has since held varying roles of Site Supervisor and Site Foreman.
